-Originally from Florida and now happily planted in North Carolina (I moved here with my family in 2021 and yes, I still miss Cuban food on every corner). My way into photography wasn’t exactly traditional—it grew out of my own story and more than a decade working in the wedding world, learning people long before I started photographing them. I’m Cuban, an immigrant, and a proud LGBTQ+ ally, and those lived experiences shape how I show up: with empathy, intention, and a whole lot of care for the spaces I’m invited into.
Before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I was behind the scenes as a bridal hairstylist. That’s where I learned the most important lesson of all: feeling comfortable, confident, and truly seen matters way more than being “perfect.” That belief still guides everything I do.
